2010-04-03 - Identified through on-line information from Chad Boorsma. -- Mr. Oscar Schmitt, the Chicago representative for Kilgen, assisted with the organ project. The instrument was dedicated with four consecutive nights of organ recitals from November 3-6, 1942. Organists included: Russell E. Hayton, Zoe Wininger, Frans Duree Kramer, and Gerald J. Kruyf. The congregation changed its name to Calvary Reformed Church and moved to a new facility in 1958 at 8422 Damen Ave., also in Chicago. The organ was moved to the new sanctuary, but it is not known who did the installation. -Database Manager
