NOTES
The organ was originally built for the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Birmingham,
Alabama and was located in a gallery loft. When they built a new church, the organ was
relocated to the new worship space. The III Mixture was reportedly originally IV-ranks
and was altered at some point – perhaps when the organ was moved to Ascension's new
worship space.

When the congregation acquired a new Steiner-Reck tracker in 1999, the 1974 Steiner
organ was sold to Resurrection Episcopal and installed here by Gottfied C. Reck without
changes.

Chimes were added as a memorial gift in 2016 and were added by Proscia Organs, Inc.
of Bowdon, Georgia.
