2018-03-09 - Updated by William M. Worden, naming this as the source of information: Detroit Free Press, March 06, 1918 - Page 12.<br> This entry is wrongly placed in Detroit. The parish is, in fact, in Hamtramck, Michigan, a separate municipality completely surrounded by Detroit. The database has an entry for the new church and Casavant built in 1952 and listed as Hamtramck. The organ listed here was obviously for a prior church space. The parish built the first part of a permanent school building in 1918 and it would have been typical for the school to include a worship space intended for temporary use as a church until a permanent church could be built. -Database Manager
