This organ was originally built by the Aeolian Company in 1929 for Grosse Pointe Memorial Church in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. Casavant rebuilt and expanded the instrument, including a new 4-manual console, in 1949 as their Opus 1964. The organ was sold to First Baptist Church in 1959 and installed by an unknown builder. The organ was rebuilt and expanded again in 1994 by Lauck Pipe Organ Company. First Baptist changed their name to Christ Community Church in 2005. -Database Manager
