Notes

2010-07-05 - Identified through on-line information from Chad Boorsma. -- In June of 1919, the church's pastor, Rev. S. Fopma, was sent to Chicago to pick out a new organ and was told not to spend more than $1,000. He purchased this organ, which had bellows pumped by young men from the church, for $900. The organ was replaced in 1950 by a new Schantz organ, which was installed behind the Hillgreen-Lane pipe facade. -Database Manager
