Notes

2010-08-01 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- Information from the church website and the Aeolian opus list. According to the church's website, "1928 - Sanctuary lengthened the width of one lot on Jackson Street to accommodate a new Aeolian pipe organ. The old organ (which had also been in the Powell Street church) is sent to St. Mary's College in Moraga where it is still in use." -Database Manager

2013-02-02 - Updated through online information from randy terry. -- The Aeolian organ was rebuilt subsequent to its installation and not all original pipework remained with the instrument. A lovely 8' Gedeckt from the 1928 Aeolian installation is now at home in the swell division of a composite organ in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Redwood City, CA, where I was organist and supervised the rebuild. -Database Manager

2020-07-03 - Organ was substantially rebuilt as an entirely new instrument in 1965-1970 by Swain & Kates, Inc. of San Francisco -Roman Lizak
