Notes

2010-08-07 - Identified through on-line information from Scott Hayes. -- Schantz constructed this practice organ in 1979, and its original owner has it installed in her houses. It was moved several times. The organ was installed by Scott Hayes at St. Luke's as a temporary instrument for use until a larger future instrument is installed, when it will be incorporated as a "Choir" organ. The former Austin organ's 16' Bourdon was restored and replaced the Schantz organ's original 16' Quintaden. -Database Manager

2013-02-23 - Updated through online information from Scott Hayes. -- In June 2012, a windstorm caused two ceiling trusses in the church to fail. The ceiling did not collapse, but had to be removed. As of February 2013, the organ is in storage. When installed, it will be incorporated into a larger organ, mostly created out of Schantz organs from the same time period as this practice organ. -Database Manager
