2010-10-02 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ was originally built for the John E. McAllister mansion in Toronto, Canada. Removed in 1981 and placed in storage for two years. 1983, installed in Hide House (as in animal hide) in Acton, Ontario. Removed from there in 1985 by Keates-Geissler of Acton and in storage at their shop. Purchased in 1992 by the Carl Dodrill of Mercer Island, Washington and installed by him in the basement of their home: console - Living room; pipes - basement. Contains a Due-Art player. Dr. Dodrill made subsequent additions. Organ sold 2010 to Kenneth Long. Removed August 1-4, 2010 by Mr Long, a friend of his, and Carl and Halie Dodrill. Mr. Long drove the organ to Texas in a rental truck, departing Washington State on August 5, 2010. -Database Manager
