2010-10-31 - Identified through on-line information from Steve Bartley. -- From The Sun Paper (Baltimore) 9/18/1852 St. Joseph's (Catholic) Church, Baltimore, Rev. Wm. F. Clarke, S. J. pastor. The case of this instrument is finished and is exhibited in the front building. It measures 15 feet in height and is fill gothic style, the work certainly of the most beautiful and skillful description. The music has not yet been fairly tried. The works are managed by two rows of keys. with pedal swell. It will be erected in the church in a few weeks." -Database Manager
2016-12-21 - Updated through online information from Steve Bartley. <br>Sun Paper 3/13/1901 announced the opening of a new church building for St. Joseph's. It was located a few doors east to the original building, on Sharp Street. The article stated that in the new building a new Lyon & Healy organ had been installed. The old building was sold and was never used again as a church, being demolished a few years later. -Database Manager
