2010-11-28 - Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- Queen of Peace Parish was formed in 1995 by the merger of St. George and Our Lady of Perpetual Help parishes in Patton. The Felgemaker was originally installed in St. George R.C. No tonal alterations at the time of the mid 1960's electrification of the playing action. Unknown if the original action was mechanical or tubular to the retained slider chests. Original double rise reservoir has been replaced by one Durst reservoir. Early 1980's a Great III Mixture [12-15-19] was added to the Great on an electro-mechanical chest by Schendel. -Database Manager

2024-12-28 - "The first St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Patton was erected in 1893, during the earliest inception of the town, and was intended only as a temporary place of worship until the growth of Patton should warrant a more commodious structure (the first structure was dismantled and relocated to become St. George Church). The laying of the corner stone, on the present building, was on May 22, 1898 which for the past 122 years has been named our Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary’s and now Queen of Peace. Prior to 1995, the Catholic community of the Patton area was comprised of three Churches: St. Lawrence Church (1854-1995); St. Mary’s Church (1898-1995); and St. George Church (1907-1995). NOTES
Slider chests are original but with electric pull down magnets.
Not clear as to type of original action. May have been tubular-pneumatic
pallet pull downs or direct tracker. Original action and keyboards may
have been replaced in mid 1960's by Cannarsa Bros. Mechanical Stop action
with foot trundle combinations. Original double rise reservoir has been
replaced by one Durst reservoir. Original ranks are typical for the
period - flutes are particularly beautiful. Room acoustic is extremely
favorable - all wood parquet flooring, high ceilings, etc.
