Identified by James R. Stettner, using information from this web site: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wicks-Pipe-Organ-ca-1913-/281177138824?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item417776a688.
-- This organ is presently (2013-10-31) for sale on ebay. Asbury United Methodist entered into a joint ministry with Our Redeemer Lutheran of Hood River in 2011. Worship was held alternately at both buildings until the Asbury building was sold. According to one of the ebay photos, the organ received restorative repairs in February/March 1989 by Jason L. Grable. -Database Manager
2021-10-28 - From the Brimstone Boulders website. -- *"The 1912 Addition: < snip > Construction began in 1910 when they plucked the original building, rotated it ninety degrees and moved it to the back of the lot. < snip > Portland’s famous Povey Bros. crafted the stained glass. And, on December 8th, 1912, the new Asbury M.E. Church was consecrated. The custom pipe organ from Wicks Pipe Organ Company of Highland, Illinois arrived in January, 1913."*
*". . .the Asbury congregation held their final service in December, 2012, merged with the Spirit of Grace (1140 Tucker Road) and sold the building. The church was officially decommissioned in March, 2013."* -Jim Stettner
