2023-09-27 - From https://www.goldeneagleorgan.com/main.php?p=Opus01 This organ was originally intended as a home practice instrument for myself (Bill Thurmeier). It consists of four ranks. Everything is unenclosed. These ranks are distributed across two manuals and pedal. The windchests are electro-pneumatic of my (Bill Thurmeier) own manufacture except for treble pipes where direct pallet action was used. This organ was completed in February of 1980. (The stops) These were derived from: 1. 16’ Gedeckt (90 pipes) 2. 4’ Principal (85 pipes) 3. 2’ Fifteenth (61 pipes) 4. 16’ Oboe (73 free reeds) The console was a rebuild of the Kilgen console from the Catholic Cathedral in Tucson. It was originally made about 1937. The reservoir was new from Organ Supply Industries The rectifier was converted to solid state from an old Durst Organ Supply rectifier The blower was made by McDowell Organs, probably in the 1950’s The console has four mechanical divisional pistons for Swell and Pedal, and Great and Pedal. -Rev. Dr. Van Herd
