2024-06-18 - Curiously, the 16' octave of the Major Bass, an open wood Pedal stop, was never installed due to lack of space in the Great/Pedal chamber. Therefore, this stop actually plays at 8' pitch throughout its 32-note compass. This was made possible by the addition a 12-note treble octave for this stop, which appears to have been done by Casavant at the time of this organ's installation.
