2009-01-14 - Updated through information from John Panning: -- No changes in 1984, just releathering the bellows & feeder, pipe repairs, etc. Sadly, the original facade stenciling wasn't restored for lack of funds, but there are photos of it and the original details are still there under all that lovely gold paint. I don't have photos of the organ, but I seem to recall that it bears a Hinners Organ Co. nameplate and yet has a swell shoe with "H&A" cast in it. (Obviously, they were using up their stock of swell shoes after the name change.) I believe the switch from Hinners & Albertson came in 1903, so perhaps the date isn't correct. This is all from memory, a notoriously unreliable reference these days. -Database Manager
