2011-03-02 - Identified through on-line information from The Zach. -- Though the specification (dated 14 May 1930) called for a 3-manual instrument of 34 ranks, only the Great, Swell, and Pedal divisions were built, the enclosed Choir remaining prepared for in the console. Modifications and additions - including an exposed Positif division - were made in 1968-70, and again in 1977-78 following a fire at the south end of the Cathedral in 1976 which destroyed console, Gt. & Positive pipework.
