2011-05-03 - The organ was originally installed in 1937 in the congregation's previous location at 134 E. Dutton Street, also in Kalamazoo. It was damaged in a 1978 fire and rebuilt as a two-manual instrument by C. V. Barden Company. Barden then moved the organ to this location, the congregation's current sanctuary, in 1985. -Database Manager
2013-05-10 - From Jim Weaver, via e-mail: I just received a call from the new pastor of the 4th Reformed Church on 6339 Atlantic Ave in Kalamazoo, MI regarding their 1937 Kilgen organ ([reduced from four manuals to two and] installed at the present location by Barton in 1985). They are moving to a new location and will not move the organ which is now being offered for sale – or as a gift. -Database Manager
2015-06-29 - Fourth Church disbanded in November of 2012. A different Reformed Church in America congregation (Voyage Church) now meets in the building. The organ was listed for sale or donation on <i>The Diapason</i> website. -Database Manager
