Notes

2011-05-10 - Identified through information from Sam Burke. -- The organ was installed in a chamber in a rear gallery built over the narthex, which was built as an addition to or modification of the original structure. On April 27, 2011 a series of tornadoes demolished the original structure, leaving the organ and console in place. Word at this point is that the organist's glasses were undisturbed on the console, though the rest of the building was in ruins. -Database Manager

2014-01-30 - Updated through online information from Paul Dessau. -- From a church contact, in an eamil exchange with Paul Dessau------ "Our organ has morphed over the years. The newest incarnation is from the 1980s. Our archivists will do some digging and come up with some information for the Organ Historical Society's database. This current organ was dedicated that May 7th, 1989 during alumni weekend. So it was installed within the year. The organ pipes were moved in 2005 with the renovation of the Chapel." <br>Linda Doll Cluxton, Director of Communication Christ School -Database Manager
