2011-07-02 - The church's sanctuary and new pipe organ (a 2-manual instrument costing $16,000) were destroyed by fire in 1972. The sanctuary was rebuilt and dedicated in 1973 with this organ by C. V. Barden Company. The Positiv is exposed on the left, the Great is exposed on the right, the Pedal is in the left chamber, and the Swell is under expression in the right chamber. When the sanctuary was originally built, it housed a 1933 Hillgreen-Lane instrument. -Database Manager
