2011-07-20 - The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Lansing closed in 2005. The members joined this congregation in East Lansing, and Lauck Pipe Organ Company moved the Schantz organ from the Lansing facility to the East Lansing building. Some ranks were extended, the console was rebuilt, and new Swell shades were created. In order to make the organ fit in much smaller chambers, new windchests were built, some pipes were Haskelled, and all the 16' pipes were placed horizontal. -Database Manager
