Notes

2011-08-03 - Identified through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- Originally installed in the downtown location by J. W. Steere & Son as Op. 447 in 1899; rebuilt and electrified by Anton Gottfried c.1940; moved to the church's new location in 1957 by Alex Koellein; 1968 contract with W. K. Dowling for major rebuild not fulfilled due to Dowling's health; the 1972 Schantz work was for an essentially new organ, using very little of the previous instrument, but using the Klann console already ordered by Dowling; a new Schantz console was installed in 1983 as Op. 1762. -Database Manager
