Notes

2011-09-12 - Identified through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Dower modestly describes the changes as a renovation of the Möller organ, but I think it more accurate to call it a new organ reusing Möller pipes and parts: All wind chests were converted to electropneumatic unit action; all mechanical parts rebuilt or replaced with new; console has all new drawknobs, tilting tablets, switching and combination actions; keyboards were completely reconditioned with new naturals; six ranks were added: Great 8' Principal (facade) Pedal 16' Open Diapason (facade) Choir 8' Cormorne Choir 1 3/5' Tierce Swell 8' Trumpet Swell 16' Bassoon/ Oboe unit The layout of the divisions of the organ was completely reorganized, placing the Great immediately behind new façade pipes and moving as much of the Pedal as possible to unenclosed space near the Great. The Swell has been located behind the great against chamber walls which reflect its sound to the congregation, and the Choir placed above and behind the new Pedal 16- Double Open Diapason. -Database Manager
