2009-11-10 - Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- In an October 1, 2008 email from Dorothy Elder of First Congregational in Greely, Colorado to Jim Stettner of Seattle, Washington, she wrote: "I recently discovered Felgemaker opus #1011 in what used to be the Presbyterian Church of Minden, NE, which is in the middle of absolutely nowhere! Church is being used as a residence in the remodeled basement. Had a 'for sale' sign out front. Door was open, so I wandered in and took pics (attached). Looked like about 12 ranks. Later, I was able to track down the owner, Ann Schwenka, who reported the organ still plays. Says she turned down an offer of $25k on Ebay for the organ. Mistake! I told her about Organ Clearing House." The organ has Great Piano & Forte and Swell Piano & Forte foot trundles, as well as a Great to Pedal reversible. -Database Manager
