2013-11-07 - Updated through online information from Ray Stilwell. -- I played this organ a lot in the 1960's. The "main page" for this organ states "4 manual" but it was actually 3. There was a secondary 2-manual console in the chapel balcony which played the Echo division into the chapel thru a second set of shades. The Oboe in the Echo was a "reedless" Oboe. The Fanfare division was enclosed in its own chamber. All the chambers except the Echo were at the 2nd/3rd floor levels of the building, facing into the choir arch. Chambers were lined with Keene's cement for better sound projection. The Swell tremulant was actually located in the 2nd floor Women's rest room, to isolate the noise better! I certainly do not recall any Harp; I think it was never installed. -Database Manager
