2015-04-24 - Updated through online information from steve bartley. -- Sun Paper article (May 27, 1951 A17) Announced the dedication recital of a new "augmented" organ. This church was built in 1910-1911. An mid 20th century booklet of the church history shows a free standing tracker organ in the front left side of the chancel. A later photo, taken in the 1920s shows a redesigned chancel with another newer style organ case. The last photo taken in the 1950s show another redesign of the chancel, with small matching pipe facades, facing the congregation, high up the walls either side of the chancel. The congregation is still active, and the organ facades still in place. Audio found on the internet, which features hymns, makes use of a Hammond. -Database Manager
