Notes

2011-12-28 - Identified through online information from Mary Amundsen. -- This pipe organ was given by my great grandfather in memory of his wife in 1917 to the Congregational Church in Red Oak, Iowa. It was called the Ella Bacon Houghton Memorial Organ. I have a copy of the program for the recital in 1917. Also have 11 ivory stop plates and the ivory name plate of the company. -Database Manager

2011-12-31 - Updated through online information from Mary Amundsen. -- My uncle in Red Oak, Iowa bought and dismantled the organ around 1960 after the church board of directors decided it was too expensive to maintain. -Database Manager
