2007-10-27 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ is housed in a contemporary case which looks like a series of stacked, rectangular boxes forming a pyramid. The top, center box and the two boxes below and flanking contain the pipes 1-23 of the Great 8' Principal. The three small boxes under the Great facade display pipes 1-27 of the Positif 4' Principal. And the two largest, outer-most, and lowest boxes display pipes 1-14 of the Pedal 8' Octavbass. The Pedal 16' Subbass is the only wooden stop in the organ. The console is detached from the case in fixed position/center, but not reversed. The toe studs are made of wood. Wind pressure is 70-80 mm. The organ was installed by Klaus Schmekal and Malte Hilpert. It was voiced and tonally finished by Rudolf von Beckerath. Documented June 27, 1993 and subsequently verified. -Database Manager
