2012-04-07 - The organ was purchased for $1,500 and was dedicated on November 17, 1907, with Professor Walter Keller at the console. The organ was originally powered by a Spencer piston water motor. Through the efforts of the Social Circle, an electric motor was purchased in 1927. The organ was rebuilt as an electro-pneumatic instrument ca. 1958 by the Kilgen Organ Company, but further additions were also made after that by an unknown builder. The instrument was finally rebuilt by Lauck Pipe Organ Company and Westfield Organ Company (Allen Organs) in 1999. -Database Manager
