2012-05-25 - Identified through online information from T. Daniel Hancock. -- The "American Musical Directory," by Thomas Hutchinson, published New York, 1861, reports "Size of organ--3 banks keys, 30 stops, 2 octaves pedals. Built by H. Erben, in 1845; revoiced by Hall & Labagh, in 1848." The New York City Organ Project website notes that Erben either rebuilt or replaced this organ in 1853. It remained in use until 1884, when it was replaced by a Roosevelt. -Database Manager
