2012-05-30 - Identified through online information from T. Daniel Hancock. -- According to Keith Williams, Service Director for Buzard Pipe Organ Builders, 2012-05-29, "Buzard Pipe Organ Builders maintains an extant late Gratian organ (date unknown, but c.1950?) in Fairbury (IL) United Methodist Church. This two manual and pedal organ is enchambered, with a supply-house console, manuals on (presumably Gratian) slider chests with internal electropneumatic pulldowns and external electropneumatic slider motors, two 16' stops on ep unit chests. We will be restoring the ep unit chests next month... We are not certain whether this was the original home or configuration of this instrument. -Database Manager
