2012-06-08 - Updated through online information from Bob Moody. -- According to the church history, the congregation voted to expand the sanctuary and purchase the organ in 1979 and the cornerstone was laid in August of 1980. It is likely that the organ was first in use in early 1981. Richard McPherson, professor of organ at James Madison University, was organist at the time. -Database Manager
