2012-06-23 - Identified by Daniel Hancock: -- Listed in The Gratian Organ Builders, published by Warren Burke Gratian, 1922, Alton, Illinois, in which a testimonial by J.E. Fischer, organist, is given, "The organ you installed in 1876 is still giving satisfaction. When we moved into the new church, you rebuilt the instrument and added several stops, which made a great improvement. There are several organs in this city, but none of them eqauls this one in quality of tone. I wish you much success in your work and know that you will fulfill your contracts to the letter." -Database Manager
2012-08-02 - Updated through online information from Richard Schneider. -- The organ was relocated to another church in Palmyra, MO when this organ was replaced by a Kenneth Jones Tracker organ in the 1980s. I will have to dig for information at a later date as to who did this project. I was contacted by him a number of years ago but the information has since slipped my mind. -Database Manager
