Notes

2012-07-13 - Identified through information from Will Dunklin. -- Loew's Orpheum Theatre is the same building built as the Boston Music Hall. The building was extensively remodeled for vaudeville as the Orpheum Theatre. (Orpheum resisted movies and did not need organs initially.) Loew's Theatres bought the Orpheum (nee Boston Music Hall) and renamed it Loew's Orpheum Theatre, and in 1915/1916 extensively remodeled the building again into a movie palace. The Frazee organ was installed at that time. -Database Manager
