2017-12-28 - Updated by Ryan Luckey, the builder.<br> The organ is located in one expressive chamber above and to the left of the chancel; above the choir loft. One set of expression shades opens toward the sanctuary. A second, smaller set opens over the console, which is located immediately under the organ chamber in the choir loft. We believe the organ was originally located in the rear gallery, but the church has no records to confirm this. A building renovation (perhaps in the 1960s) included moving the organ to its current location. We believe this work was done by Reuter. They also enlarged the organ, but it is not entirely clear what is original and what was added. Repairs by Bedient in 2017 include upgrading to solid state controls, releathering the wind reservoirs, and repairing pipes damaged by fallen plaster. Parishioners repaired the plaster walls of the chamber. -Database Manager
