Daniel Hancock. -- Ochse, 1975, reports that this was "the first church organ in Georgia," and was presented "by Colonel Barnard of Augusta in 1766. If it was still in the church in 1796, it was probably destroyed in the fire that burned Christ Church to the ground that year." -Database Manager
