2025-06-04 - Circa 1833, the organ was acquired for the Unitarian Church in Uxbridge, Mass. by a parishioner, Robert Rogerson. This is noted in a memorial plaque placed in the church in 1926 by his two surviving grand children, the same year the church bought a 3-manual Hook & Hastings to replace an older organ, possibly the Goodrich. In modern times, nothing remained of the Goodrich other than the case and bellows. The case was given to the Historical Society (and in storage 2025) and the bellows remains in the church. -Scot Huntington
