Notes

2012-10-18 - A relocated organ. Identified by Rodney J. Weed, based on personal knowledge of the organ. This Möller Theater organ was originally built for a 5000 seat Theater in Brooklyn, New York in 1927. At some time after being removed from its original home someone updated the electrical system to a modern electronic keying system. For a period of years in the 1980's it was the organ for the Pied Piper Pizza on West Mason Street in Green Bay, Wisconsin. While it was located at the Pied Piper Pizza the organist, Perry Petta, made a very nice half hour video demonstrating the organ. This video is still available out on the Internet. After the Pied Piper Pizza parlor closed in the late 1980's the organ went back into storage. It was purchased a few years ago by a group in Crystal Falls, Michigan for the small 500+ seat Crystal Theater that was renovated and reopened in 1991 for a local performing arts theater. On September 9, 2012 I drove up to Crystal Falls, Michigan and heard the organ in concert played by Dave Wichman. It sounds just great. -Database Manager
