Augusta: Keith Shafer, 1996. -- According to Shafer, 1996, the Jardine organ was altered by Farrand & Votey Organ Co., as their Opus 708, in 1893. As a part of this work, they electrified the action, the console reversed, stops added, and the pipes enclosed behind scroll-work. This instrument was destroyed by fire, along with the church and parish house, in 1916. -Database Manager
