2016-11-09 - Updated through online information from Marvin Schurke. <br>In 1951, Gloria Dei had Balcom and Vaughan of Seattle rebuild and enlarge the organ while relocating it to a new edifice on Olympia-s west side. The "ventil chests, tubular-pneumatic key action and pneumatic stop action� of the previous organ were replaced by electro-pneumatic windchests and a new (or at least newer) console. The contract stated the console was to be new, but it has "426" stamped inside. Three ranks of pipes were added. -Database Manager
