2023-06-02 - This writer carried out service on this organ for several years in the early 2000s. As mentioned the organ is a rebuild and enlargement of a 1920s Moller. The tonal results are fairly good, though all-most of the original mechanism was reused and possibly rebuilt by Moller in 1963. The layout of the instrument was not changed and the new pipes were squeezed in, which hinders access. Sadly the acoustics of the room are very poor due to many soft surfaces and light construction of the building. The Positif suffers the most and does not present well, though it is in a favorable position. This is mostly due to the acoustic problems. Console preparations were made for the inclusion of an Antiphonal division, in the attic over the balcony. The Church, like so many, has fallen on hard times and is no longer able to continue a once active music program. The condition of the organ is fair-poor. -Steven Bartley
