Kilgen Organ Company, 1957
First Presbyterian Church, Trenton, Tennessee

All manual stops are straight; the only borrows and extensions are in the pedal.
The last time I played this organ was for a recital in 1977. I got a grand full
organ effect by drawing the Great Diapasons at 8'-4'2 2/3'- and 2' plus the Swell
Geigen Diapason, Plein Jeu III, and Trompette coupled to the Great at 8' and 4'
plus the Choir Clarinet coupled to the Great at 16' and 8' and in the Pedal the
16' Subbass, 8' Octave and Great to Pedal 8'. It gave a good account of itself
despite wall to wall carpet and cushioned pews. The church has always kept the
organ well maintained. A recent check of their website mentioned that they are
very proud of their beautiful three manual Kilgen organ, so that would cause one
to expect that they are still maintaining it well.
