Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in in David Junchen's "The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, an Illustrated History.". -- In 1927 Wurlitzer relocated their opus 238 from the Bluebird Theatre, Petersburg VA, to the Elmer Theater. With the advent of sound pictures in late 1927, the Elmer management quit making payments on the organ and Wurlitzer repossessed it. The organ's fate is unknown, but Wurlitzer was known to utilize repossessed ranks in their later organs. -Database Manager
