Notes

2013-02-15 - An original installation. Identified by Darrin Upp, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- I was university organist at Miami U. during the 1980s. Sometime in the early 1990s, the organ was sold for approx. $18K and relocated to PA, I believe Pittsburgh. I don't know why it was replaced, as it was in suitable playing condition at the time for the little it was used. It was replaced with an inferior Baldwin Electronic Organ. -Database Manager

2013-05-06 - Updated through online information from Don Hurd. -- Looking up to the balcony, there is a very large organ chamber. There is an electronic centered in the balcony. At the base of the stairs there is an interesting plaque, silver with large black print/engraved:
Clokey Organ Loft
Named for Joseph W. Clokey, '12
Musician and Composer
Dean, Miami's School of Fine Arts 1939-46 Member of Miami's Music Faculty 1915-26 and 1939-46 Director of Glee Club 1921-24

Could have been a very nice installation and sound in a beautiful chapel.
