2013-07-30 - The congregation purchased the 1927 Möller (Opus 4854) from First Methodist Church in Albion, Michigan, in 1958. The organ underwent many changes and additions over the years, including three different consoles. Because of water damage in the chambers, Lauck Pipe Organ Company essentially created a new organ that reused several ranks (strings and reeds) of the previous pipes. The Klann console was also retained, although it was completely rebuilt. Additional openings in the chambers were also created so the organ could speak directly into the room. The organ was dedicated on December 16, 1990. -Database Manager
