2013-05-23 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by John Speller, using information found in Advertisement in "The Biblical World," Volume 9 (1897), p. 486.. -- The advertisement lists the instrument as one of Farrand & Votey's largest installations. This organ was divided into two locations: The main section was in the Rotunda (lobby) of the Hotel while the Palm Garden division (with console) was located on the 19th floor.
