Notes

2013-05-23 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by John Speller, using information found in Information from Pictorial and Biographical Memoirs of Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties, Indiana (1893) p. 286, where there is a partial list of Louis Van H. Dinter-s organs.. -- The above source states that Louis H. Van Dinter built organs in Detroit, Michigan, between 1870 and 1877 before moving to Mishawaka, Indiana in 1877, and this would fit with the date of this particular instrument. -Database Manager
