2013-06-14 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by John Lanier, using information found in Factory specifications with shop notes. -- This instrument replaced an earlier Erben organ (OHS ID#690). Organ was placed in a chamber in the front of the room, with Choir and Swell to either side of the Great and the Pedal organs. Console was horse-shoe type, with direct-electric action. -Database Manager
2013-06-15 - Updated through online information from John Lanier. -- This organ was removed in 1958 and installed in the balcony of the church's chapel by the Manley-Steiner Co. of Chattanooga, TN. The choir division with 4 rks. was removed. The blower, console and Great & Swell chests with pedal off-sets were placed in this location, with the dummy pipes in the previous installation painted and installed on the front. The organ fell into dis-use in later years, and was sold to an individual in 1974, but its location and condition are unknown. -Database Manager
