2013-06-15 - Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by John Lanier, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- 61 notes on manual keys; 32 notes on Pedalboard. Organ and console are to the back of the nave. Pipes are enclosed in a chamber(under expression) 8' off of the west wall; console with stop-keys is below and to the side of the entrance. Organ was originally built by M. P. Moller (Artiste series) for a previous location. -Database Manager

2013-06-17 - Updated through online information from John Lanier. -- This organ was previously in the First Baptist Church of Oneida, TN as Moller opus #7884. Upon its relocation and installmen, the Oboe (8-4') was replaced by a Nazard 2-2/3'. -Database Manager

2021-02-08 - The church closed December 31, 2020, and the organ was offered for sale. -Jeff Scofield

2022-10-18 - The organ was removed from First Baptist Church, Oneida, Tennessee, by Barger & Nix and was given to First Baptist Church, Lindale, Georgia - which is near Rome GA; it was never installed there and was sold by Barger & Nix to Phil Parkey & Associates for installation at Transfiguration Episcopal Church in Rome GA; when Transfiguration closed, the organ went to First Baptist Church, Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, just north of Chattanooga, where it was being installed by Roy Davis of Barger & Nix in 2022. -Jeff Scofield
