Notes

2013-06-17 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by John Speller, using information found in Felgemaker Opus List, ca. 1920. -- Probably replaced by Votteler-Holtkamp-Sparling, Opus 1576, 1932 [Organ ID 5383] -Database Manager

2018-03-26 - Updated by William M. Worden, who gave this as the source of the information: I know the history of the congregation.<br> The Felgemaker listed here was installed in 1913 in a frame church building dating to 1883. That building was demolished in 1932 to make way for the present church, which houses the Votteler-Holtkamp-Sparling Opus 1576. The fate of the Felgemaker is not known. -Database Manager

2022-02-08 - Some pipework of the Felgemaker was incorporated into the Votteler-Holtkamp-Sparling organ: The builders proposed that "The pipes of the old Felgemaker organ would be taken to our shop and worked into the new organ strictly according to the requirements of the new organ. Scales and forms of certain pipes will be altered or changed to fit them to their new functions." Walter Holtkamp signed the contract on behalf of the builders. -- *1995 OHS Handbook* -Paul R.
