Lawson, using information found in Factory Specification. -- This organ was originally built by Farrand & Votey (1894, Op. 747) for "Belcourt Castle", the Newport, R.I. residence of Oliver H. P. Belmont and his wife, Alva. When he died in 1908, Mrs. Belmont had Aeolian move the organ to her New York City townhouse. -Database Manager
