2013-07-27 - Organ relocated without any change. Identified by Steven E. Lawson, using information found in Factory Specification. -- This organ was originally built in 1912 for the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. town house in Manhattan. When the Rockefellers moved in the 1930s to a large new apartment on Park Avenue, the organ was given to his sister, Alta Rockefeller Prentice, who had it installed in her residence. Mrs. Prentice died in 1962, and the organ was acquired by Our Lady of Fatima Church. -Database Manager
